What to Expect

Here at Grace Baptist you will find friendly people who will welcome you graciously.

Our ultimate desire at Grace Baptist is that the Lord be honored and glorified. Our services include congregational singing of hymns along with a choir song and a special from a group or soloist. You will also find solid, Biblical preaching that will challenge you in your walk with the Lord.

We do have a fully-attended nursery for all of our services.

We also offer Sunday School and children’s church, as well as Patch the Pirate Club for children on Wednesday nights.

Welcome to Grace Baptist Tabernacle! Our motto at Grace Baptist is that “It does make a difference what you believe!” We are an independent, fundamental, Baptist church that preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to evangelize our community by preaching the Gospel, to edify one another, and to equip believers to serve the Lord. We accomplish this through various children’s ministries, youth programs, adult Bible studies, and challenging preaching.

Ministires

Our church offers a variety of ministries to help you grow in the Lord. We have a ministry of encouragement called “Handfuls of Purpose” that meets on Monday mornings at 10am. This ministry includes writing cards of encouragement to church members as well as others in our community.

On Wednesday nights we have a children’s ministry called Patch the Pirate Club. This is wonderful ministry that encourages children to be involved in devotions and to memorize Scripture. During the Club, they have an activity page, play a group game, have a snack, read a story and answer questions, say the pledges, sing, and have a Bible lesson. This ministry is for children ages 2yrs. old through 5th grade.

We also have a Bible publication ministry associated with Bearing Precious Seed. We collate John and Romans Scripture, put covers on them, staple them, and then cut them into a finished product to be shipped out all over the world. We have worked on languages for Africa, India, the Philippines, Taiwan, American Indian, and English.

We believe the Bible to be the revealed We believe the Bible to be the revealed Word of God, fully and verbally inspired of God. We believe the Scriptures to be the inerrant, infallible Word of God, as found within the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. We believe God not only inspired every word, but has preserved them through the ages. We believe the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people (Psalm 12:6-7; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:23-25; II Peter 1:19-21).
